Here you are, in Oregon

UPDATES!

To make it a little easier for those coming to Oregon for the first time, here is a helpful and interactive map of some places we recommend checking out. The wedding site, our house, hotels, and tons of breweries, restaurants, and local attractions are all listed on here. Plus, you can get directions right on the site from any locale to another. Check it out by clicking on the picture below! And locals, comment if you think there's a place or two we left off and we'll add it.

We've focused on Portland and a few places near the wedding. But there's plenty to see in Washington and the rest of Oregon if you have the time to explore. Comment if you are planning on checking something out that's not on the map and want help figuring out any details.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lots to do!

We'll fill this section out, but start your search online for these not-to-miss places while visiting (ordered from closest to the Wedding site to farthest away, depending on how long your visit is). General information can be found here: Travel Portland and more encompassing information can be found here: Travel Oregon

Multnomah Falls
Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge
Skamania Lodge
McMenamins Edgefield and/or Kennedy School
Powells Books in downtown Portland
The Japanese Garden
Portland Art Museum
Willamette Valley Vineyards

If you plan on staying in Oregon longer, either before or after the wedding, here are a few places we like in Portland for lodging.

McMenamins Kennedy School (you can stay in an old classroom! This is not located downtown)
The Ace Hotel (tre hip, and close to Powell's books downtown)
The Nines (very fancy, but right in the heart of the city)

If you need to stay close to the airport, there are the regular places right there (Sheradin, Hampton Inn, Hyatt, etc.)
